Overview
irDashies is a free, open-source overlay app for iRacing, built with Electron and React on top of the live telemetry the iRacing SDK exposes. It draws its widgets over the sim: standings and relative boards with multi-class support, a track map, a fuel calculator, an input trace, a tachometer, a blind spot monitor, weather and wind, a pitlane helper, a flag display, sector delta and a lap timer, among more than twenty in all.
The project is MIT-licensed and developed in the open on GitHub, where it reached version 1.0 in August 2026 after a series of public 0.x releases. It runs on Windows, like iRacing itself.
With SimLauncher: irDashies isn't one of SimLauncher's built-in companions, but it runs as its own Windows app next to iRacing, so you can add it as a custom app in your iRacing profile and have the overlays up the moment the sim launches.

Beyond the usual standings and relative boards, irDashies carries widgets aimed at specific moments in a race: a warning when faster cars are closing from behind, a slow-car-ahead alert, a rejoin indicator for pulling out of the pits or garage, a battle view, and a pitlane helper for the limiter and the box. Spectator support follows whichever driver you are watching in iRacing, and a setup comparison tool covers the time between sessions.
Streamers get a Twitch chat overlay and a heart rate widget alongside the racing ones, so the same app can serve a driver on track and a channel on air. It suits iRacing drivers who want a broad, free overlay set they can inspect and change, rather than a subscription suite.
